When I started working with Jed, I was feeling very desperate. I had reached the highest weight of my life and felt helpless to do anything about it. I knew I was capable of losing weight, but I did not have the consistency or follow-through to keep at it long enough to get results. When a friend of mine told me about (Jed)…I was all in. Just over a year later, I had lost more than 50 pounds and felt great. I had much more energy and I could feel muscles I didn’t know I had before. I had done personal training once before in my life, and it wasn’t a great experience. I felt the trainer had been all about making me feel like I worked hard but that he really didn’t know why he was making me do certain exercises, and we did not talk much about nutrition.

Jed has the opposite approach. He explains everything simply and thoroughly. I came to understand why working out in circuits was helpful and learned a whole new way of looking at nutrition. He never got down on me when I slipped up, but he never gave up on me either…he would help me regroup and go at it again.

Probably most important of all was Jed’s consistency. He was there every time and kept me going week after week. After a while, I started to see results. And then even more results. I am happy that I am maintaining the improvements I made even after we have ended the formal training sessions a few months ago. I will always be grateful for Jed and what he has done to help me. I feel like in many ways it has helped save my life…if not literally by adding years to it, at least in the sense that I can enjoy life more, feel energy to do things and play and have fun with my family. I highly recommend Jed to anyone who is wanting to improve or maintain their fitness.

I have lost 40 pounds since I started working with Jed. In my first year of college, I did not have the high school sports to keep me active and was constantly bombarded with the dorm college “diet,” that my no-longer-teenage body simply could not afford. Before I knew it, the usual “freshmen 15” had become a “freshmen 30,” then “summer-sophomore 40.” It was growing out of control, but I did not want to admit it.

By the start of my sophomore year, I was finally ready to get back to my healthy, athletic self, but just did not know how to start. Jed gave me that start. He worked with me to develop eating plans and slowly transitioned me into harder workouts each session, allowing me to lose the weight I needed to in less than six months.

Not only did I get back in shape, I got stronger, more active, and healthier than I had ever been in high school, even during my involvement in volleyball and track. When I became serious about losing weight and getting healthy, Jed worked with me and helped me reach my goal. Although I have lost most of the weight I needed to, I am still going to Jed because through his program, I can still become stronger and healthier, no matter my weight. Jed helped me change my life around, and I would recommend him to anyone.

Jed Jobe is the man! It took me a while to cave in and realize I needed a trainer to help me reach my goals. Majoring in Exercise Science and avidly studying health and fitness, I thought I knew just about everything I needed to stay in shape and accomplish my goals. However, Jed made just the right tweaks and formulated a plan that has allowed me to continue progressing and see incredible results! I am continually stunned by his knowledge and expertise. Living in San Francisco, I still chose to invest in Jed because I knew it was the best investment in myself.

After working out with Jed, I not only grew tremendously in strength and size but in my knowledge of strength training. I learned the correct technique and types of workouts to use to get certain results. My max was increasing by the 100’s of pounds by the end was not the only success measurement. I was able to also put on a total of 55 + pounds after only two cycles of three to four months. The end of my sophomore year, I weighed 130 lbs, and by the beginning of my senior year I weighed 187 lbs. He does a great job! With his help I was more successful in both sports. In football I was a two-way starter at Heavy H and Outside Linebacker (junior and senior year). In wrestling I wrestled at that 172 pound weight class my senior year (varsity all four years). In both sports my size and strength as well as my performance helped me become well known to the state helping me get awards and mentions and earning me some scholarships to Division 2 and Division 3 schools. All thanks to Jed’s commitment to as well as mine to him.

I’ve been working out with Jed for five years. His skills as a trainer and knowledge needed to train others safely and effectively is refreshing. Jed never gives up. He’s always researching to verify what supplements or proper foods, or training method are best for his clients. Honestly I have not been the best client for eating properly but have consistently come to Jed three–sometimes four– times a week with excellent results. I have lost 35 pounds. It didn’t happen overnight but more importantly to me is how I feel overall. At 51, I feel better now than I ever have physically. My activity and energy levels are always high. I can do whatever I want with left over energy!!

I often stop by Circle K; a lady who sees me there asked if I was a workout fanatic I laughed because I complain about working out every time I go. Jed is a life saver and I highly recommend him. He not only knows what’s best for his clients but also genuinely cares for them. Thank you, Jed!!

As a multi-sport athlete, I have been a part of countless training programs meant to increase my speed, strength, balance and endurance, none of which provided the results I found with Jed. When I began, I had one goal for my training: increase my vertical in order to further develop my level of play on the volleyball court. Jed took this goal, broke it down to its core, and developed a program that allowed me to build overall body strength and balance, increase explosive movement, and develop muscle definition all in addition to increasing my vertical leap by five inches over a year long period. He constantly adjusted my program to fit the needs I had at that moment, whether it was a change in sports seasons or a discomfort with a certain exercise. His knowledge of training, his personal abilities with lifting, and his personalized encouragement created an environment that pushed me to work even harder to create results for myself.
Not only is Jed educated in the sciences of physical training, he takes the time to help you understand why you are doing each exercise, why you take certain supplements, and what you need to do to attain the best results. By doing so he allowed me to feel confident in the exercises I do and comfortable in the substances I am putting in my body. I only have one body and I would not entrust my training to anyone but Jed.

I am a 38-year-old mother of three; needless to say very busy and needed an extra push to get myself back on track.  A friend referred me to Jed and I was very excited even just after the first session.  I started with one-on-one sessions and felt very comfortable with letting him know why I was there and what I was wanting out of these sessions.  He listened to everything and has been able to give me a plan that works! I have always worked out and been very athletic.  I was at the point where I was disappointed in the way I looked and that I couldn’t keep up with the activities we enjoy with the kids. I wanted to feel better and shedding a few extra pounds wouldn’t hurt either.  Jed talked with me about diet and worked through what was actually doable for someone on the go.  He is a wealth of knowledge; I don’t know that he hasn’t had an answer for any of my questions. He is very up-to-date on all the latest trends in the diet and exercise world. He tries out exercises, diets and new apps before he recommends them. Jed keeps the enthusiasm going by changing up the routine and making sure it is the direction we all want to go in.  I am now in a group and love that atmosphere.  We get to bring all our challenges and setbacks, discuss them and figure out how to get over the hurdles, but what is the best is sharing our successes.  I have sent Jed a text when I was able to fit into jeans that seemed so far out of reach.  He was just as excited for me as I was.

I am stronger, losing weight, looking and feeling better.  I have been training with Jed for a year and still excited about going to each session.

Being the type of person who was an active athlete in high school, I never believed that I would ever be able to revive those qualities within myself. When I began training with Jed I had not done exerting physical training since my high school days, but he provided an environment that allowed me to work at a pace that had the right balance of comfort and progression. He continually took the time to understand the needs and desires I had for my experience allowing me to achieve more than I thought I could from my training.

After training with Jed for just under two years I am doing things that I would have never imagined I would be able to do when I started. From the way that I now feel and look, I know that by training with Jed I have done things the right way.
