Women’s Boot Camp classes run every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:15 – 10:15 a.m. I started these a few months ago as a request from some of my clients. They wanted an opportunity to workout in a supportive group while having fun.
I can think of several reasons why you should join these boot camp classes. For your sake, I’ve narrowed it down to 9 reasons. Check them out below.
12 Reasons to Join Women’s Bootcamp at Jed’s Gym
1. It takes an hour or less
Most workouts run 45 minutes to an hour. We keep it short and sweet.
2. You can join no matter your level of training
It doesn’t matter if you’re weak or strong. If you’ve been working out all your life or just started. Our women’s boot camp class is based on rotating through circuit training. That means you can adjust to your level and get a great workout.
3. You’ll have a support group
I’m serious about this one. The women who come to these camps are inviting and awesome to be around. Plus, you will have someone counting on you, which will make you more committed.
4. You can burn up to 600 calories
Because we do circuit training, you burn maximum calories in just an hour. Up to 600 calories, that is!
5. They are affordable
If you pay in advance, classes can be as cheap as $10 a class. If you want to pay as you go, classes are $15. Either way, it’s an affordable way to get a workout through a dedicated, certified personal trainer.
6. They will build muscle
These classes are sectioned into circuit training focused on working the entire body. These mean you will build muscle throughout as with each class.
7. You will laugh more than you cry
This boot camp is not meant to make you throw up or cry from the pain. You won’t be too sore to move and dreading to come back to class. You will instead receive a hard workout and enjoy the company of an awesome group of women.
8. You are more likely to follow through than going to a gym
Because you pay for each class and you have a group of people to “report” to, you are more likely to stay committed versus going to a gym by yourself. And trust me, three times a week in a boot camp class is much more effective than a couple times a month at a gym.
9. It’s more fun
At times, being in a gym alone is awkward and boring. This class is hard work, but it’s also a lot of fun.
